Jillian Barberie
Jillian Barberie, co-host and weather forecaster of KTTV Fox 11’s Good Day L.A., is a long-time friend of animals. As a child, Jillian had many companion animals, including dogs, cats, birds and more. As a spokesperson for Last Chance for Animals (LCA), Jillian has spoken out about pet theft and participated in a Public Service Announcement on the issue.
When brought to Good Day L.A., Jillian introduced the “Adopt A Pet” segment, which, partnered with such organizations as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Canine Crusaders, and New Leash On Life, among others, strives to place homeless animals.
Prior to Good Day L.A., Jillian spent two years as the weeknight weather anchor on the Fox 11 10 O’clock News, reporting live on such natural disasters as the 1998 El Niño storms.
Jillian has had several television roles, among them a game show host on Clueless, a news reporter on Beverly Hills 90210, and a cameo on Melrose Place, as well as a recurring role on
V.I.P.
